Bernard Patrick
March 23, 1943 – July 28, 2020
With his loving family by his side, Bernard Patrick, beloved husband of Zarina Bernard, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the age of 77 years.
Bernard was the loving father of Benzy David and father-in-law of Michael David of Calgary, and the cherished grandfather of Esther, Elijah, Elisha and Ezekiel. Bernard is also survived by his siblings Thresa Khan and Joseph Patrick; nieces Florence Bennett, Anita Anthony, Samrina Noel, Sonia Patrick and Rubina Khan; nephews David Patrick,
David Khan and Solomon Khan.
Bernard was born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He worked in Dubai for 35 years and then retired. He came to Canada in 2005. Bernard enjoyed fishing, and was a devout Catholic, attending St. Teresa’s Parish in Pakistan, St. Mary Church in Dubai and St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Calgary.
Visitation will be held at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13 Street NE) on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm with Prayers starting at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (15 Templebow Road NE) on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:30 am with visitation half hour prior to service. Graveside Service to follow at Airdrie Cemetery.
