Barbara Elizabeth Chase (nee Beaton)
1943 - 2020
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of a dear wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Barbara (nee Beaton) Chase on Monday, July 20, 2020at the age of 77.
Barbara was born in Badger, Newfoundland but left there in her early 20's. She met and married her husband, Bob, in Toronto and later moved to Calgary.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Robert; daughter, Deborah; grandchildren; sister, Sandra (Chipp) and brother, Brian Beaton; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her son, Gregory; parents, Hedley & Flora Beaton; siblings, June Arnold and Roland Beaton as well as sisters and brothers-in-law.
The family wishes to thank those who cared for Barbara while she was a patient at the Peter Lougheed Centre and those who supported the family during her illness and after her passing. It is greatly appreciated.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
