Obituary for Arcadio Eserito Peralta

Arcadio Peralta
December 13th, 1930 - April 21st, 2021

Arcadio Eserito Peralta (Archie, Adiong), passed away at the Southwood Hospice on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Arcadio was born in Santiago, Ilocos, Sur, Philippines and was a well respected politician for many years. He served his hometown as Sangguniang Bayan Member (councilor) from 1965-1981. He went and worked in the Middle East for a couple of years, and then immigrated to Canada in February of 2003. During his time in Canada, he worked two jobs at Bow Valley Club (Downtown) and South Centre Mall as a custodian. During his spare time, he enjoyed going on outings with family and friends, especially in Kananaskis County.

He was a very generous, kind, loving man, and was always there to help others in their time of need.

Throughout the years of living in Canada, he grew to love the country as his second home.

Arcadio was the loving father of Nellie (Danny) of Calgary, Arcadio Jr. (Ana) of the Philippines, Mary Joy (Vincent) of Rome, Italy, and Erwin (Nina) of Calgary. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren John Michael, Paul Bryan, Paul Francis, Paul Andrei, Sheila, Christel, and John Paul.

Arcadio was predeceased by his wife Felomina and his son Christopher.

A visitation will be held at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13th Street NE) on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Due to Covid regulations, a maximum of 20 people are allowed at one time for the viewing. You must RSVP in the link below with your name and telephone number for a set time slot in order to attend the visitation. Please note that you must come during your scheduled time period, and you will not be allowed in the building earlier or later than your time slot as per AHS regulations.

A private family prayer service will follow the visitation.
