Obituary for Annette Marian Kathleen Greer (Lambert)
With our deepest sympathy to all, Annette M.K. Greer, long time resident of Calgary, (AB) passed away in Calgary (AB) on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the age of 81 years.
Annette was born on January 27, 1941 along with her twin, Agnes in Fort Vermilion, AB to Edward & Hannah Lambert.
Annette had a lifelong interest in nursing as she became an LPN starting her career in Edmonton. In her early years, she travelled to Germany where she resided with her new family for a few years, then back to Trenton, Ontario. In her recent years she was a unit clerk at the Calgary hospitals, mainly the Rockyview General hospital where many of her coworkers became her friends.
Annette (Anna) loved her crafting and sewing, tending to her many plants and hanging out with her only grandchild Lyndy. Bingo was her favorite past time for many years. Annette days were filled with her loving husband, Allan Greer’s, care, love and attention.
Anna leaves behind to mourn her son, Michael Haddad; granddaughter, Lyndy Skjeie; husband, Al Greer; sisters, Ethel Carruthers, Noreen McAleer, Mona (Richard) Randle, Sharon (Manley) Lambert, and Verda Lambert; and brother, Keith (Anita) Lambert. She is predeceased by her daughter, Angela Marie Haddad; her son, Eric Haddad; her parents, Edward & Hannah Lambert; her sisters, twin Agnes, Ruth, Donna, and Edith (Lizotte); brothers, Doug, Lyle, Donald, and Roy; and brothers in law, Bill Carruthers, Orville McAteer, Arthur Lizotte, and Jack Kidder.
Anna will be laid to rest in the Fort Vermilion Anglican Cemetery with her son, Eric Haddad.
