Annette Garuk
November 28th, 1935 - Friday, November 29th, 2019
It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our loving mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, auntie and friend, Annette Garuk on November 29, 2019.
Annette was born in Herb Lake, Manitoba on November 28, 1935. She was a loving sister to many siblings and was predeceased by her second husband Gordon in 1995 and by her mother Christine, her father Patrick, her brothers Patrick, Cyril and Noel and her sister Terry. She will be missed by her children Sheryl (Ron), grandchildren Alan, Jackie and Rachel, Kim (Tim), grandchildren Carey and Jesse and Shane, grandchildren, Tim (Jessie) Brittani, Meghan and Hugh Kyle and her 12 great grandchildren. Also mourning her passing are her sisters Yvonne, Yvette, Clara, Marie and brothers Mike and Leo.
Mom loved talking to family and friends, and she enjoyed watching football and curling, cooking, baking. She was also a wonderful sewer and crafter.
Annette's family wishes to thank the staff at the Peter Lougheed Centre and The Calgary Foothills Hospital for the kind attention and care they provided to our Mom.
A Celebration of Life is planned for the spring when Mom will be buried with her husband, Gord.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
