Allan Robert (Bob) Morris passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 88 after a life very well lived.
Bob was born on May 9, 1932 in Ottawa, Ontario. At the age of 21, Bob married the love of his life, Geraldine Hamilton and moved west to Edmonton where they started a family. Bob was a proud accountant (RIA/CMA), and a professional opportunity moved Bob and his family to Calgary. Through the 1970s and 80s Bob was an owner of a couple of successful business, including Carter Mapping.
When he was not working, he and Geraldine traveled extensively, with some of his favourite places being Maui, Banff, and Shuswap Lake.
Bob loved music and song and cherished the hours he spent singing in the St. Barnabas Anglican Church choir, where he also volunteered much of his time as the church accountant. Bob was also an avid sports fan, and if you were looking for him you had to go no further than the television where you would find him watching football, basketball, or hockey. If it was a sport Bob was happy to watch it.
Bob is survived, and will be sadly missed, by his wife of 67 years, Geraldine; his children, Wayne (Kathy), and Vickie (Doug); his four grandchildren and 5 great-grand children.
