Obituary for Alice Maria Ward (VanDerNet)
Alice Maria Ward , beloved wife of Andrew Stephen Ward of Calgary passed away peacefully at Age Care Glenmore nursing home in the early hours of April 25th-2023.
Alice was 60 years old. My dear wife had many medical issues and fought very hard until she no longer could. Thank you Age Care for your excellent care you provided her.
She was a loving mother of Nigel (Megan) of Airdrie as well as grandmother to Cyrus, Helen and Lydia.
She will also be remembered by her brother Corey (Mary Ellen) and sisters Carla and Patty (Graeme ) all who were born and lived in Calgary; as well her many nieces and nephews..
Much appreciation and thanks to her numerous aunts and uncles who called after hearing the news expressing their sorrow and best wishes.
I will miss Alice very much and loved her more than anything in my life. Rest in peace my dear Alice.
