May 13th, 1989 - November 30th, 2020
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Alanna Surplus on Monday, Monday, November 30th, 2020 at the age of 31. Alanna was born and raised in Calgary. She loved all animals, and especially loved riding her horse. She was a Show Rider at the Calgary Stampede for two years. Alanna cherished her many family trips to Ireland.
Alanna will be forever loved and remembered by her mother, Lori West; father, Richard Surplus; sister, Maggie (Dave) Kozlowski; as well as numerous loving extended family members. Alanna was predeceased by her favourite aunt, Jean Gillespie.
A Celebration of Alanna's Life will be held at a later date. Details will be updated here once confirmed.
