**JAPANESE VERSION BELOW ENGLISH OBITUARY**
Akemi Hayashizaki of Crossfield, Alberta, beloved wife and preceded in death by Kaz Hayashizaki, went to be with the Lord at Dulcina Hospice in Calgary, Alberta on 3 April 2022 at the age of 66.
She was a loving mother and is survived by daughter, Janet Morgan (Sam Morgan) of Calgary, Alberta; daughter, Emily Arahata (Yasuaki Arahata) of Crossfield, Alberta and son Daniel Hayashizaki (Ai Hayashizaki) of Edmonton, Alberta. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Nathan and Eleanor Wong and Noah, Liam, Oliver, and Emmett Arahata.
Akemi was born to parents Shigeru and Masue Matsumoto, on 20 May 1955 in Aichiken, Japan. In college, she met her husband Kaz Hayashizaki and returned to Canada with him where she eventually came to faith in Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Akemi’s passion, rooted in her faith, was reflected in her commitment through hospitality to her family, church, and community. Akemi spent most of her life with Kaz in Lethbridge, serving and reaching out to the Japanese community, and running their landscaping business together. After the loss of her husband, she moved to be with her daughter, Emily and her family, in Crossfield where she began to attend Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church. Akemi’s servant heart continued to deepen and she took part in the hospitality team where she found joy in baking goods and serving coffee on Sunday mornings. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren and delighted in them.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Akemi’s memory to STARS Air Ambulance.
The family has entrusted Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church with the Celebration. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for those within her immediate community and church on Thursday, 14 April 2022 at 1:00 PM RR2, Site 11, Hwy 580 and Range Rd 30 Carstairs, Alberta.

アルバータ州クロスフィールド町の林崎明美（はやしざき あけみ）は、先に天に召された林崎和彦（はやしざき かずひこ／カズ）の最愛の妻でした。2022年4月3日、アルバータ州カルガリー市のダルチーナホスピスにて66歳で召天しました。
明美は、愛情深い母親として、アルバータ州カルガリー市在住の長女、ジャネット・モーガン（夫:サム・モーガン）、アルバータ州クロスフィールド町在住の次女、エミリー・アラハタ（夫:荒畑泰明）と、アルバータ州エドモントン市の長男ダニエル・ハヤシザキ（妻:ハヤシザキ愛）を育て上げました。孫のネイサンとエレノア・ウォン、ノア、リアム、オリバー、そしてエメット・アラハタもまた彼女を愛しみをもって憶えています。
明美は1955年5月20日、愛知県で両親の松本茂とマスヱの間に誕生しました。夫となるカズとは専門学校で出会い、先に移住していた彼についてカナダに渡りました。彼女はその地で神と出会い、イエス・キリストを彼女の救い主として信じクリスチャンとなりました。彼女は信仰に根ざし、家族、教会、地域社会へ仕え、情熱的、そして献身的に人々をもてなし、奉仕してきました。明美はレスブリッジでカズと人生のほとんどの時間を過ごし、一緒に造園会社を営みました。同時に日系人コミュニティにも奉仕し、人々に手を差し伸べてきたのです。夫の召天後は次女エミリーの家族と共にクロスフィールドに移り、ベテル福音宣教教会に通うようになりました。明美の奉仕に対する思いはさらに強められ、ホスピタリティチームに参加し、日曜日の朝に焼き菓子を用意したりをコーヒーを提供したりすることを心から喜んでいました。孫たちをとても慈しみ、彼らと過ごす時間をとても大切にしていました。
葬儀に際し、お花・お花料はご辞退させていただき、お志は明美の記念として、STARS財団（STARS Air Ambulance; 緊急事態に陥った傷病者を迅速に救護し航空輸送する非営利団体）へご寄付くだされば幸いに存じます。
葬儀は 2022年4月14日木曜日、午後1時からアルバータ州カーステアーズ町のベテル福音宣教教会にて彼女の近親者および地域教会の人々で執り行われます。
