It is with great sadness that the family of Agustin Armando Garcia Ocampo announces his passing on Monday, December 2, 2019 in Calgary, Alberta. Agustin was born in Managua, Nicaragua, moving to Calgary in 1988.
Husband and best friend to Teresa Toruño de Garcia. Agustin will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Teresa Toruño de Garcia; his six children, Urania, Armando Zacarías, Adriana, Mayra, José Alberto y Evenor and his 18 grandchildren. He was predeceased by one grandchild, Adriana Carolina Vargas.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate Agustin’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at with visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 am and mass starting at 10:30 am at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer, 1714 – 14 Avenue NE, Calgary, Alberta. A Burial Service will take place in Managua, Nicaragua at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Agustin’s memory to The Agape Hospice
