Adam Keegan Horricks
November 9th, 1990 - May 27th, 2021
Adam Horricks, a life-long resident of Calgary, AB, passed away unexpectedly on May 27th, 2021 at the age of 30. Adam leaves behind his daughter, Arya Horricks; spouse, Kassandra Griffith-Cochrane; brother, Jordan Horricks; mother, Gloria Windrim, as well as many family and friends. Adam was predeceased by his father, Jon Horricks in 2014.
Often found with a book in his hand, Adam loved to read as well as watch movies and listen to a variety of music. He was a father, spouse, brother, son and friend and will be missed fiercely by all who knew him. He was love and fire all wrapped into one, and loyal to everyone he loved. Adam’s most cherished times were with his daughter, sharing with her all the knowledge he had gathered in his short time with us. He loved bike riding, playing video games with his brother, and hanging out with friends. He was loving, kind, protective, stubborn and charming. Adam shared his big smile and humour with everyone he met. He was known as the class clown and his jokes were quick-witted and hilarious. Although people often cursed him for his practical jokes, he was integral in creating a solid foundation in the group of friends he shared with Kassandra. When times were difficult he could always put a smile on the faces of those he loved. Anyone who met Adam quickly learned there were always laughs to be shared. It was impossible to spend time with him without enjoying a gut-busting laugh at some point in the conversation. He had an unparalleled way of bringing people together and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. Adam held his head high until the end, showing what it looks like to finish strong.
