Obituary for Dawnelda Harding

Dawnelda Harding (Wehrhahn) passed away at the age of 55 at her home in Calgary Alberta, on September 11, 2020. Dawn fought a long hard battle with ovarian cancer but through it all, she always wore a smile. Dawn lived her life for her family and her dear close friends and she touched so many lives with her kindness and her love.

Dawn leaves behind her husband and partner in crime of 34 years, Garry Harding, her father and mother, Bud and Sherron Wehrhahn, siblings Stacy, Trevor, Deeanna and Lance. Her greatest joys in life her 5 children, Michelle, Shawn, Raymond, DJ (wife Dez) and Anthony and her beautiful 6 grandchildren Chase, Dillan, Dominic, Maddison, Sylvia and Alex.

Dawn's life was all about her children and grandchildren, "Momma Bear", "Nana" her fight was for them and cherished every moment she was able to have even on her hardest of days. Dawn loved spending time with her grandchildren; everything from cuddling or swimming in the back-yard pool or teaching her granddaughters her love and talent of crafting. No matter what she was doing with them they felt her love and warmth and always brought a smile to her face and brought out laughter they were the highlight of her days.

Dawn was a very talented woman and was proud of her quilting, knitting, crocheting and sewing just to name a few. She loved making quilts for the family and they will cherish these forever. Dawn also loved her jeep, whether it was her old jeep with the top down or her brand new jeep you could see the excitement in her eye (as well as the gas pedal) No matter what Dawn was doing she brought laughter and joy to everyone around her.
one breathe one step one day.
