Dylan Emilio
January 8th, 1980 - Saturday, March 30th, 2019

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dylan Emilio at the age of 39 on March 30, 2019. He was born on January 8, 1980 to Frank and Brenda Emilio.

Dylan grew up in Westville, Nova Scotia and moved to Alberta when he was 19. There he started his career with the Carpenters Union Local 2103. Dylan was a scaffolder through and through. He settled in Calgary when he met his wife Connie. They moved to Rockyford, Alberta where they started their family and had a beautiful daughter named Morgan Jane.

If Dylan was not hammering away on his tools or riding on his Harley through the country, he was spending time with his daughter, building anything and everything, or on the lake fishing.

Dylan is now at peace with his mother Brenda Jane Emilio, but will be forever missed by his wife Connie, daughter Morgan Jane, father Frank Emilio, sister Amie (Emilio) Liddle, brother Justin MacDonald, and step dad Don Allan MacDonald.

In lieu of flowers, Dylan's family asks that you please make a donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association

When I first heard of Dylan it was through my parents. Connie got a boyfriend!! They spoke about Dylan and how nice he was. He was a charming man with good character my dad used to say. My mom liked his personality and gentleness. Dylan just like the rest of the grand kids and he called them Nonna and Nonoo. He called me Auntie Rosie, He stole my heart with this love he had for family and want of belonging. When I first met Dylan I noticed that when he smiled his eyes could twinkle. I was very fond of Dylan, of the spirit he had within. I am saddened by the loss of a family member gone too soon. Rest in eternal peace Dylan. God bless,
