May 15, 1940 – February 6, 2019
Leanne Kaye Jones passed away peacefully at age 78 on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Rockyview General Hospital. Leanne is predeceased by her parents Dick and Scotty Gourlay, and her sister Judy Welch.
Leanne is survived by Josh Jones, her husband of 50 years, and their children David (Bonnie), Jim (Leah), Kate and Mike. Leanne will also be remembered by her precious grandchildren Amber, Alexis, Caitlin, Vanessa (Aaron), Madison, Rochelle, Athena and Maconellea; her siblings Tom Gourlay (Cecile), Mary Warrington (Steve), Francie Lockhart (Ron), and Scott Gourlay (Cindy), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and her long-time friend Leta Belleau.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church (5504 – 20 Street SW, Calgary, AB). There will be refreshments immediately following the Mass in the reception hall of St. James. Interment will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
