Jason passed tragically in a motorcycle accident on July 3, 2016. Jason- or Jay to his closest friends and family, is lovingly remembered- any room Jay entered quickly filled up with fun and laughter. Jay was tattooed on the outside but a big teddy bear inside- a big tough guy with an even bigger heart.

Jay lived life to the fullest, on his own terms and accomplished so much during his all too short stay here on earth . Jay was a successful chef in Toronto and after returning to Calgary became a beloved member of the Finning Team. Jay loved his motorcycle and left us doing one of the things he enjoyed most- riding his bike. It is rare, possibly once in a lifetime, that we are lucky or blessed enough to have someone like Jay in our lives and he leaves a void that cannot be filled again. Jay would do anything for those he loved and would want those who loved him to celebrate him, his life, his story and the memories that will live on forever.
