It is with profound sadness and extremely broken hearts that we announce the passing of Shannon Heather Madill (Burgess) on November 27, 2014 at the age of 25. Shannon will be greatly missed and her memory will be treasured forever by her parents Lisa and David Madill; brother Tyler (Carmen) Madill and nephews Roland and Zakari; sister Erin Madill (Ted Lach); brother Brett (Lindsay) Madill; dog Beowoof; close extended family members in Ontario and numerous friends. Shannon had a vibrant, outgoing personality and enjoyed the spotlight. Shannon graduated from Central Memorial High School in 2007 and was extremely active in the music and drama programs. She was also an alumni of the Calgary Stampede Show Bands and was a very accomplished musician. She was very passionate about the arts and participated in stand up comedy, improv games, film, stage, and voice acting. In keeping with her quirky personality, a Farewell Party honouring Shannon's life in true Shannon style will be held at The Westin Calgary (320-4th Avenue SW) on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
