Obituary for Wayne Allen Hill
Wayne Allan Hill passed away peacefully in Calgary, Alberta, on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at the age of 77.
He was predeceased by his elder brother, Steven Hill and his goddaughter, Jaimie Hill. He is survived by his younger brother, Keith Hill and family; and his three loving sons, Robin, Barry and Timothy Lockhart, their wives and children.
Born January 19, 1946, in Black Diamond, Alberta, Wayne grew up and lived in Calgary after graduating from Spokane Falls Community College. He was a notable and well respected Calgarian who lived life ferociously with many successes and legendary misadventures. His career spanned over fifty years as a commercial realtor and developer. He also loved to play golf and was an avid home renovator.
The sadness of his loss is offset by the joy of knowing him. Wayne will be truly missed. The family wishes to extend innumerable thanks and appreciation for all those who helped in his last days.
