Wayne Randall Herauf
May 8, 1957 - November 28, 2023
Wayne, loving father of Jessica Martin and father-in-law of Monty Martin of West Kelowna, passed away in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the age of 66 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Melodie (Wayne) Stephanson; brothers, Celest (Gloria) Herauf and Mike (Crystal) Herauf; and nieces, Rosie, Matea, and Josie. He will also be lovingly remembered by Laurie Herauf and the dela Gorgendiere family, including Randy, Alexis (Roger) Pickett, Rob (Connie), Patti, Donna, Nicole (Lane), Matthew, Alyssa, and Jagger. He was predeceased his parents, Celest Peter Herauf and Pauline Della Herauf; his parents in law, Regis and Delcie dela Gorgendiere; and his son, Jon Herauf.
Wayne was born in Kamsack, SK and was raised in Prince Albert, SK. He earned his B. Comm and CA degrees and had careers as an accountant, entrepreneur and most recently was employed by Crowe MacKay in Calgary, AB. Wayne enjoyed fishing, duck hunting and following the NHL. He will be remembered as a truly kind, gentle, well-spoken man and will be missed by many.
