Terry Lee Winter
September 16th, 1960 - March 30th, 2021
Terry Lee Winter passed away on March 30, 2021. She was the loving sister of Tanis Humphrey (Russell) of Stratford, Ontario, and proud aunt of Lyle (Patti) Humphrey, Ryan (Shauna) Humphrey, and great nieces and nephews Jade, Sophia, and Alexander. She is also survived by her birth mother Doreen Von Bieker and 4 step-brothers. Terry was predeceased by her father Leroy Edwin Winter (August 17, 2015) and her mother Mary Eva Lorraine Winter (December 3, 2015).
Terry graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 1990 with a Fine Arts Diploma in drawing. She has dabbled in all art mediums. She has murals in High River, Mayerthorpe, Alberta Beach, and Stoney Plain. There are 3 pieces of her art in the Alberta Provincial Arts Collections from the early 1990’s. She was a very talented artist.
Besides her love for art, she loved working with her hands. No home reno was too big or too small. She also loved gardening, music, and dancing.
Terry would always go the extra mile for those in need, and organized yearly Christmas food and clothing donations in her apartment building to go to the less fortunate through the Mustard Seed.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Terry’s name, and are greatly appreciated by her family.
