Terrance (Ted) Charles Descheneau passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the age of 72 years. Ted was in and out of the hospital over the last year, dealing with many health issues.

Ted will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Jennifer (Doug); son, Steven; grandson, TJ; granddaughter, Caylin; his sister, Doris (Jay); and his brothers, Bob (Gail) and Tom. Ted was predeceased by his father, Thomas; his mother, Doris; his sister, Connie; and his brother, Doug.

Ted was born June 16, 1950 in the town of Olds, Alberta. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and golfing. He also cherished the time he spent with his friends. Ted loved meeting new people and was always a good listener when people called him to talk. Ted was known for his smile. He would light up a room.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses and doctors of the Peter Lougheed Hospital (Unit 58). Over the last year, they too became a part of his family.

A Celebration of Ted’s Life will be held at a later date, followed by his burial by his family in Olds, Alberta. Ted was an avid animal lover, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Calgary Humane Society.
