Obituary for Susie Sharon Eberhardt

Susie Sharon Eberhardt
March 21, 1947 – April 19, 2024

Our sweet Susie girl passed away after a brief illness listening to her beloved Elvis on a sun filled day at the Foothills Hospital. Susie was born in Olds but lived most of her life in Calgary.

She attended school, had a career delivering internal mail, was an avid volunteer and was arguably Elvis’s biggest fan. She had a wicked sense of humor and loved to play practical jokes on the people she loved. Susie was an avid game player, puzzle master and was notably the go to person for dates, anything Elvis and movie/TV trivia.

Susie travelled many places but her most memorable were her trips to Las Vegas, the Lake and her trips to Houston, Dollywood and of course Graceland. Susie was a good friend to so many, often helping out with those less able. She loved to be able to enjoy her summers outside in the backyard.

Susie is survived by her sister, Georgina (Erhard) and their children, Deanna and John, Cathy and Greg, Sandy and Trevor, Randy and Luella and by her uncle, Jack Fischer. She was predeceased by her mother, Mathilda; father, John; and her sister, Evelyn.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gregory Skinner for his dedicated and exceptional care over many years. We would also like to thank all of her friends for all of your support throughout the years. It meant so much to Susie.

A backyard Celebration of Susie’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at 1640 22 Avenue NW, Calgary AB, 403-282-2401.
