Stella Pollock passed away October 20, 2019 at the age of 73. She was born in Leader, Saskatchewan on April 12, 1946. She leaves to cherish her memory 2 children; Leah Pollock (John) of Calgary and Rick Pollock (Joelle) of Calgary; 4 grandchildren Lona Chapman (Jesse) of Calgary, Devon Pollock of Calgary, Zachary Brady of Calgary, Andrew of Calgary; 1 great grandchild Sadie of Calgary; 3 brothers Lloyd Michalezki (Sandy), Richard Michalezki, Ron Michalezki of Medicine Hat as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 2 brothers Ken Michalezki and Paul Michalezki of Red Deer.
Stella was a strong woman and farm girl at heart, she cherished the time she spent with her family especially her grandkids. She loved with a warm heart, was set in her ways and gave everything she had in everything she did. Stella enjoyed playing cards, bingo, shopping, people watching and finishing off her outings with a hot coffee from Timmy’s.
Family will lay her to rest in the Scattering Gardens at Queen’s Park Cemetery (3219 4 St NW Calgary, AB T2M 3A6) on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life at Newport Harbour Care Centre (10 Country Village Cove NE Calgary, AB T3K 6B4) at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy stop by a Tim Hortons and have a cup of coffee in her honor.
