1934 – 2022
Shirley Williams passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in Calgary, AB at the age of 88 years.
She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Ian (Darlene) Williams of Calgary, Clay (Kari) Williams of Cochrane, and Dana Patrick of Calgary; grandchildren, Meaghan (Zach), Adam, Parker, Ada and Hudson; dear friend, Geri (Tony) and their family, Kathleen and Donnie of Claresholm; as well as many other extended family and friends. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Gladys Parker and son, Scott Williams.
Shirley was born in Carbon, AB, grew up in Okotoks, lived in Edmonton, until she settled in Calgary. Shirley was known for her favourite pastimes including: watching sports, volunteering at her grandchildren’s schools for field trips to Bowness Park and the Zoo, and knitting mittens and scarves for the Mustard Seed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley’s memory to the The Mustard Seed.
