Obituary for Ryan Maarten Ayer
In Loving Memory of Ryan Maarten Ayer
July 28, 1982 – October 26, 2023.
Ryan is survived by his loving fiancé, Jennifer Johnson; stepson, Eliyah Johnson; parents, Adria Ayer and step-father John Prudhomme; sister, Titiana Hooge; nephews, Benton and Skylar; and niece, Destiny. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Adam Hooge. He loved the outdoors and spending time with family at his cabin. He enjoyed riding his side-by-side and going for rides through the wilderness. He was a truck driver and was well respected in his field. Ryan and Jen met in Calgary and quickly fell in love. Ryan was a wonderful stepfather to Eliyah and was always there when a friend asked for help. Ryan was taken too soon and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family requests any memorial donations be given to the Calgary Humane Society.
A Celebration of Ryan’s Life will be hosted at 116 Saddlecrest Green NE, Calgary, Alberta, on Wednesday November 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
