Bob (Robert) Baker
August 3, 1943 – July 1, 2022
Bob Baker, beloved husband of Carol of Calgary, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2022 at the age of 78 years.
Father of Steven Baker, Scott Baker & Robert Gallagher (Reid Babbitt) of Calgary;
Father of Bonnie Sue Hinschberger (Scott Hinschberger) & Richard Gallagher (Jackie Gallagher) of Waterloo Ontario; Grandfather to Jacob Hinschberger, Austyn & Nolan Baker, Ashley, Brittney and Connor Gallagher of Waterloo Ontario.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Nora Baker.
Bob was born in London, Ontario and grew up in Waterloo, Ontario. In 1979 he moved with Carol Gallagher to Calgary where he found work with an old school friend, Dennis Koebel at Trumark. He and Carol managed Renfrew Arms apartment complex. He also worked as a driver for the retirement home Chateau Renoir. Bob was regularly involved with the Poppy Foundation as a volunteer and would happily help out anyone if he could.
