Obituary for Reinhard Felde
At the age of 62, Reinhard Felde of Calgary, AB peacefully passed away at the Southwood Hospice Care Centre after recently being diagnosed with Cancer with his beloved wife Pam and children at his side. In the early morning the angels took him home.
Reinhard was born to Herman and Agatha Felde on February 26, 1961, in Calgary, AB. He was one of five siblings. Predeceased by his parents and sister, Hilda. He met his soulmate, Pamela Romich in 1983 and was married to her on June 7, 1990. They had two children, Harley and Leah.
Reinhard was a workaholic, he worked as a MFL operator in the steel industry for Evraz Corp. and dedicated 29 years of his life, this was considered his second home. He was planning to retire in February 2024. The plan was to take a trip to Hawaii, he was going to purchase a 1980 Oldsmobile 442 w-30 big block, sell the home and relocate outside of the city. He loved the outdoors; fishing, road trips, dirt biking and taking his vehicles to the car wash where he had a membership, these were some of the few things he enjoyed. He also had a special place in his heart for old classic muscle cars and motorcycles. Most of all was his true love was for his family and his grandchildren, Gabriel and Nova, he was looking forward to spending more time and taking them places, just being a grandpa, being there for them as they grow up.
Reinhard Aka. Rotten Fart or Rainer had a sense of humour and was a jokester, this created some confusion amongst people because they always thought he was serious. Rein kept a smile on your face and laughed at you and with you. E.g. Stampede parade day sign-up sheet for the float.
Reinhard’s faith in God reflected the person he was. He was loving, kind, forgiving and would give to anyone in need, an inspiration and loved by all that knew him.
Reinhard was a brother and friend to many, he will be loved, remembered and forever missed. He leaves behind his wife Pam, children, grandchildren, brother, sisters, nieces & nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles and friends.
