Obituary for Raymond David Stotz

Raymond David Stotz, died suddenly on Saturday, November 19, 2022. He was 73 years old. He is the son of John Stotz and Matilda Sielzle. The family is deeply saddened by his death. Raymond was born on June 3, 1949.

He was a warrior through life that had to deal with many physical pains, but he kept on pushing through. Everyone who knew Ray, knew how charming, witty and caring he was. Ray would always try to find ways to instill humor into any situation. Ray could make friends with anyone in a very short amount of time. He spent many days at Molson Brewery working and enjoying some leisure time at Shotz Pub and of course the Toad n Turtle on Barlow. He met many friends at these places. When he was younger, he was also an avid photographer and loved the arts. Even just a single meeting with Ray, you could tell how wonderful a man he was.

Raymond is survived by his son, Tyler Stotz; daughter-in-law, Jade Luu; grandson, Xander Luu Stotz; niece, Colleen Robson (Kevin) as well as lots of extended family and friends. We will miss him more than words can say.

No service will be held as requested, a memorial page will be setup for you to be able to comment your thoughts and prayers for Ray. Our family is grateful to know that Ray is finally at peace. If you are interested in attending a Celebration of Life lunch, in honor of Ray, please email Tyler at stotztyler@gmail.com.
