Obituary for Randall Donald Rowe
Randall “Randy” Rowe, beloved husband of Darla Rowe, of Calgary, passed away at the PLC ICU on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the age of 65.
Randy was a loving father to Wendy Rowe of Medicine Hat, Alberta, and Chris Rowe and (Carla Gattinger) of Calgary, Alberta. Randy also leaves behind his only grandchild, Tiana Rowe of Calgary, Alberta.
Randy was predeceased by his father, Don Rowe; mother, Brenda Rowe; and sister, Linda White.
Randy was born on December 20, 1957, in Edmonton, Alberta. He graduated from Jasper Place High School and went on to become an Electronics Engineering Technologist after graduating from NAIT. He was an avid Ham Radio enthusiast with two call signs, VE7DES and VE6 BOJ. He married Darla Amundson in August 1978. After graduation, they moved to Calgary where he started his career. His knowledge and expertise will be missed.
Randy spent his spare time with his hydroponic gardening, camping, and with his family and pets.
Randy was greatly loved and is forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace Randy.
A private family gathering will be held.
