Patricia Lilian Cosman (nee Wilson)
April 10, 1933 - November 3, 2022
Patricia (Pat) Cosman, beloved wife of Donald Cosman of Calgary, passed away at her home with family at her side on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the age of 89 years.
Patricia was the loving spouse of Donald Cosman and mother of Stephen Charles Cosman and Kenneth Robert Cosman. She was predeceased by her husband, Don in 2000, and her son, Stephen in 2005.
Pat was born in Welden County, New Brunswick. Even years later, she travelled back east for reunions, keeping in touch with classmates and her teacher until her last trip just a few years ago. Pat and Don met in Moncton and Don moved to Calgary after they were married, with Pat following shortly after. Her two sons were the focus of her life, but she also worked in the office at Dr. E. P. Scarlett School.
Throughout her life, Pat enjoyed social activities and always made company feel welcome in her home, especially by cooking amazing meals and revealing her wicked sense of humour. She was an active, participating member of Daughters of the Nile and Eastern Star. Pat loved her summer cabin at Gull Lake where she continued her life-long friendship with her sister-in-law, Annette Wilson. She also loved to go antiquing with her dear friends Pat and Dawn. Pat's community at Lincoln Manor miss her bridge playing dearly, because her attempts at cheating caused many hoots of laughter.
Pat's extended family was always welcome in her home. We will all miss our Pat.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory to Canadian Cancer Society.
