Matthew “Matt” Alan Hebert
May 22, 1987 – February 28, 2024
The family of Matthew Alan Hebert sadly announces his unexpected passing in Grande Prairie, AB on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the age of 36 years.
He will be so missed and lovingly remembered by his mom, Anne Hebert; dad, Doug Hebert (Lori); sister, Danielle Williams; brother-in-law, Kyle Williams; niece, Aislynn Williams; grandmother, Lesley Wilson and wife of 10 years, Jessica Bastille as well as many more family and friends that are not listed. He was predeceased by his brother, Dalton.
Matthew was born in Ajax, ON but found his way out to Alberta, where he enjoyed so many things, working for years in the Oil and Gas industry, riding his motorcycle, snowboarding, scuba diving and even got his Master’s in Thailand for scuba diving so he could teach that!!
Matthew had a great sense of adventure – he loved to travel, going to such places as the Dominican Republic, Japan, Cuba, Thailand, and Ko Tao (a small island off of Thailand).
Matt had a big heart and he loved his family and friends so much. He loved hard, lived hard and played hard.
Matthew, rest easy, you will be so missed by so many.
A Celebration of Matt’s Life will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home in Grande Prairie, Alberta (11802 99 Avenue).
