Libsekal Tesfaye
August 7, 1972 – January 13, 2024
Libsekal Tesfaye, a cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend has passed away on the 13th of January 2024 to go to the Lord she loved, to whom she always says, “You’re holding my hand not to ever let go of me and so am I”.
Libsekal had shared a loving marriage with Mr. Wondwossen Tamene and was blessed with a son and a daughter. Her wisdom, kindness, and conscientious nature were evident from childhood. She valued her marriage, held a deep reverence for God, and embodied good manners throughout her life. May her soul rest in heavenly peace, and may God provide comfort to her grieving husband, children, family, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Philadelphia Church (2022 Centre Street NE, Calgary, AB). For those who are not able to attend, you may watch the Service at either via YouTube or via CalgaryAV which has a password that is Case Sensitive (ChoiceMemorial).
A Graveside Service to follow at 2:30 pm at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden Road NE, Rockyview, AB, T1X 1G2) and again, for those are who are not able to attend you may watch at the Cemetery at either via YouTube or via CalgaryAV which has a password that is Case Sensitive (WeAreOne).
Immediately following the Graveside Service, please join the family back at the Philadelphia Church for a Reception and time of reminiscing.
