July 16th, 1951 - April 24th, 2021
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Jerome “Jerry” Augustus McDonald announce his passing on April 24, 2021 at the age of 69.
He is survived by his wife, Dallas; son, Robert; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Andrew Sanchez; brothers, Wayne (Linda) and Derm McDonald; sisters, Patsy (Allan) Cooper, Elaine Crowe (Gerry Button), Linda (Brian) McDonald, and Jackie McDonald; and sister-cousin Eileen Lewis, along with 18 nieces and nephews, 22 great nieces and nephews, and 5 great great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Laura and Jack McDonald, and BFF Menchi. A proud father, husband, brother, and friend, the house feels much quieter now that he’s gone.
Thank you for the songs, the laughs, and the stories, for the poker games around the kitchen table, the long drives, and the marshmallows over the fire pit. We love you, Jerry, and even though your loss has been devastating, once the pain fades that love will always remain.
