Jim Rausch passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the age of 69 years old.
Jim was born December 12, 1953 and was the middle child of Jack and Helen Rausch (both deceased). Throughout his life, Jim lived with a deep passion for sports, adventure, and family. Jim began his career at Canadian Western Natural Gas, working his way through many different departments. His true calling, however, came from being the proud owner of BullsEye Bins and from being Dad to his daughter Caitie. He was a loyal member of the Calgary Winter Club for nearly 30 years, where he pursued various sport passions including tennis, pickle ball, curling, and bowling. He was also an avid skier and cyclist.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Caitlin (Dave); sister, Susan; niece, Jacobi and nephew, Jonathan. Jim will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. He was predeceased by his sister, Carol. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s honour may be made to the Calgary Food Bank.
