Marina Jean passed away peacefully after a prolonged illness, surrounded by family, on Friday, October 6, 2023.
Marina was an incredible person! Born in Sintaluta, Saskatchewan to parents, Les and Norah Partridge, and sister, Onagh, this prairie girl created a life that she was very proud of. Wife and golfing partner for 64 years to Bob, mother to Michele (Ed) Rich (Des) and Mike (Janis) and Grandmother to Emma.
Marina loved being active! In her youth she was an accomplished curler and later in life on the golf course she was known for her whippy backswing, splitting the fairway, and achieving three holes in one! Every morning, rain, sun or snow, she would be putting in three miles of speed walking!
In the kitchen Marina was an awesome cook, the Sunday tradition of Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding was anticipated and enjoyed by family and friends. Her gardening was another love as she would work her magic to have flowers grow to their potential. Just like her flowers, Marina as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend helped us all grow to our potential.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at unit 81 at Rocky View Hospital for taking incredible care of Marina.
