Irmgard Fugel, beloved wife of Steve Fugel of Calgary, passed away in Calgary on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the age of 85 years.
She was the loving mother of Alex (Sandi) Fugel of Calgary, Tom (Terri) Fugel of Vernon, BC, Rob (Shelley) Fugel of Calgary, and Steve Fugel of Calgary. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Collin, Karley, Kristy, Jaelyn, Paetyn, Addisyn and Emersyn. She was predeceased by her husband, Steve Fugel and her son, Frank Fugel.
Irmgard was born in Germany and arrived in Canada in 1955. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mom was a quiet and kind person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Also important to her was her faith and the friends at Our Lady of Fatima Church. She worked tirelessly to bring everyone joy and will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, Irmgard would have wanted donations made in her name to a charity of one’s choice.
