Obituary for Guildo Joseph "Gil" Pelletier

Guildo Pelletier
January 3, 1947 - March 8, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guildo (Gil) Pelletier age 74 of Arrowwood Alberta. Gil was a very kind and caring person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He had an absolutely wonderful (and warped) sense of humour which everyone seemed to love! He was also a very good joke teller who loved to make people laugh and enjoyed the company of his many friends as often as he could.

He loved fishing, camping and hunting in his earlier years, but slowed down in his golden years, and was just content with the simple life and taking it easy and enjoyed his retirement days just hanging out at home and spending time with his beloved dog Abbey. Rest In Peace Gil, you will be dearly missed by many. ❤️

Gil was born in Les Etroits, Quebec on January 3, 1947 and is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Amelia and two stepchildren, Linda and David. He is also survived by his two children, Annie and John, as well as many brothers and sisters who loved him very much; Diane (Luc), Rene (Carmen), Guy (Pauline), Micheline, Claire (Yvon), Rejean (Lise), Real (Johanne), Huguette, Claude (Suzanne), Louise (Claude) and Helene as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his beloved Mother Mere, Marthe Ouellet; Father Pere, Lucien Pelletier; brother, Ghislain and sister, Yolande.

The family will have a private service in Quebec at a later date.
