June 6, 1940 - November 23, 2022
It is with great love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Geraldine “Blondie” on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
She will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Cindy and Debbie; grandson, Justin (Hannah) and granddaughter, Nikki (Tyler); great granddaughter, Feyra, as well as many other relatives and special friends at Five Star Bingo, and best friend “Cookie.” Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Gross in 2010 and were married for 46 years.
Geraldine was a loving mother who spent most of her time on the farm, she loved canning, cooking, and family get togethers. She really enjoyed tending to animals on the farm and helping Raymond as much as she could. Justin and Nikki would spend days on the farm with “Grandma” playing baseball, making pancakes, and checking on the animals.
As she grew older and moved away from the farm her new love was her grandkids and Bingo. In the evenings she would go to Bingo where she would enjoy her time with family and friends, and would be even more happy when her favourite caller was there. She will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind woman and will be forever in our hearts.
At her request, no service will be held. If friends so desire a Celebration of Geraldine’s Life will be held in the upcoming months at Five Star Bingo. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Calgary Health Foundation in support of (Fanning Centre RCTP).
