Gabrielle “Gaye” Kavanagh
September 5, 1946 – December 8, 2022
Gaye Kavanagh, beloved wife of Fergus of Calgary, AB, passed away at Southwood Hospice on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the age of 76 years
.
She was the loving mother of three children, Robert Kavanagh (Julie) of Calgary; Ashlinn Kavanagh of Calgary and Allison Kavanagh (Darren) of Calgary. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Owen, Clara, Dominick, and Rowan; brother, John Fitzgerald, and Ruth Fitzgerald and nieces, Anna and Emily Fitzgerald. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Patricia Fitzgerald.
Gaye was a dearly loved wife, mother, Grandmother (Gammy Gaye) and a true friend. She leaves behind many relatives and friends in Ireland, UK USA, and Canada.

A Celebration of Gaye’s Life will be held later with a gathering of friends.
Gaye spent 30 years working for the Alberta Children’s Hospital doing a job she absolutely loved. If you wish to make a donation, the family asks that it be made to Alberta Children’s Hospital.
