Fe Meamo
February 21st, 1928 – April 29th, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fe Meamo at the age of 93 on April 29th, 2021 in Calgary, Alberta. Fe was born on February 21st, 1928 in Manila, Philippines. She is survived by her two children, Angelita and Reynaldo (Amelia); her grandchildren, Ivy (Danny), Iris (Cory), Margie, Ryan, Aaron, Adrian and Alain; her great-grandchildren, Diane (Zion), Danille (Noty), Dale, Krystelle, Joshua and Xandie; and her great-great-Grandchildren, Zabdiel, Joshia, Akeemo and Akeeya. She was predeceased by her husband Jesus Gasingan, and her siblings, Jose, Benjamin, Natividad, Ester and Manuel.
Back home in the Philippines, Fe was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Holy Face and Apostleship of Prayer of Our Lady of Sorrows. Fe immigrated from the Philippines to Canada in 1993 to join her son Reynaldo. She had a deep love for animals especially stray cats, dogs, and birds and took the time to care and feed them. She also loved to cook, her specialties being kare-kare and fresh lumpia. Her favorite past time was watching soap operas especially the Young and the Restless.
