Obituary for Elaine Marie Flette (Dureau)
Elaine Flette (Dureau), a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister left this world on Monday, April 18, 2022 at the age of 91 years.
She is survived by her five children, Darlene Flette, Arlene (Angus) Kelly, Dale (Linda) Flette, David (Brenda) Flette and Leona (Pat) Ober, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Allan.
Elaine was born on the family farm in Wolseley, SK. In 1953 she married Allan Flette and settled in Peace River where she raised her five children. Elaine was a very spiritual person. She spent many hours at the Catholic Church and with the CWL. She had a love for dancing, ice cream, but more importantly loved spending time with her grandchildren. Hours were spent playing mini hockey, barbies or teaching her grandchildren how to cook. Her most favorite past time was beating you at a game of crib. Elaine was a very social person and wherever she lived, she was appreciated and loved by all.
Cremation has taken place at Choice Memorial Cremation and Funeral Services and her ashes will be laid to rest in the Peace River Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Westview Community, Wentworth Manor and the Rockyview General Hospital for their care with mom over the past few years.
