David Llyod Edward LeMoignan
It is with great sadness that the family of David LeMoignan announces his passing after a three - year battle with Cancer, on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the age of 70 years.
David was born and raised in Edmonton, AB and was relocated to Calgary, AB in 1982.
David worked for Pacific Western Airlines, Canadian Airlines (20 years), Air Canada (10 years), Costco Depot (10 years). He had many roles and responsibilities within these jobs and was an advocate for the employees he worked with.
David was a competitive baseball player, He played for over 40 years with SPN league while helping manage and coaching as well. He was a team player, an organizer and one who was passionate and had a love for the game.
David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Dianne and his children, Jayson (Shannon), Matthew (Yui), and Andrea (Chad). David will also be fondly remembered and cherished by his seven grandchildren, Jordon, Aaron, Judah, Levi, Avery, Isabella, and Abigail. David is predeceased by his father, Edward; his mother, Joyce; and his sister, Thelma.
David always left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His joyful laugh, his unforgettable smile and a voice that changed the decimal point in the room. He brought people together with his conversation and people were either drawn to him or he wasn’t their cup of tea.
A Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 12:00 pm, at the Crossfield Community Hall (900 Mountain Avenue, Crossfield, AB).
