July 15th, 1956 - March 29th, 2022
Clara D'Souza passed away on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022 at the age of 65. Clara will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Cheryl D'Souza (Chiarah Menezes) and their children Chiarah, Joel and Joseph; daughter Caroline D'Souza; as well as other dear family members.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Blvd. SW) on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm with viewing one hour prior to Mass. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
A Daughter’s Tribute
Through your passing, my life has been torn like a veil,
corner to corner. The magnitude of my loss incomparable,
my heart inconsolable, my tears unstoppable, my grief unbearable.
Yet, there is also a more powerful force at work.
A profound peace resounds within of knowing
that you are finally home, with the One
whom your soul loves the most, your Jesus.
I tenderly behold you, my mother,
my confidante, my friend; a legend
whose entire life glows with captivating beauty,
courageous faith, heroic sacrifice,
resolute devotion to family, compassionate service,
and healing humor.
A gentle, warrior who always taught me to never,
ever, ever give up!
I cannot lose you since you are not separate from me.
The love you have always lavished upon my life
daily fills my thoughts, my works, and all my heart.
Until we meet again in the Father’s house...Watch over us.
