Condolences

Condolence From: Dan Oystryk
Condolence: Jack was a sourse of strength and courage. "Courage is an independent spark from heaven's bright throne, by which a man's soul stands raised, triumphant, and alone." May God give all who grieve Jack's passing, the strength and courage to love life as we look forward to being with Jack again in Heaven some day.

Condolence: We are very sorry for your loss Adeline, Jim and Les. Every memory I have of Jack was of someone that was always happy and joking, even after he was diagnosed with cancer. He was always full of energy, kind and generous. It was obvious that he lived a rich and full life, even though it was cut short.

Condolence: It's been a month since Jack left us to go to a better place. Free of pain and free of the evils of this world. We missed him then and we miss him still. Our sincerest prayers of comfort go out to Adeline (Sam), Les and Jim. Some day when we meet again I know he will have that confused smile on his face, as if to say, why the sullen look? Then that big smile of is will light up Heaven as if darkness ever lingered there. The memory of the man with that great smile comforts us still today.

Condolence: Whatever we touch, we leave fingerprints.. As we touch other's lives, we leave our identity. Life is better when you are happy; but life is at its best when others are happy because of you I know many people here are happy because of you brother. Brother, God gave you an opportunity to touch peoples hearts and you are here with us today mourning the death of our Father. Again I wish I could join you people during this difficult time...but I know our hearts and thoughts are together... My family and I are having you in our prayers. Nothing is more important and worth practicing than being a channel of God's blessing and I know we are channel of God blessing in many ways brother, we have our youths (Falcons) as our blessing, people of Samburu through Tusker Adventure Travel as our blessing, my father's siblings as our blessing. So why should the Almighty not grant you peace, love and Harmony...... Why are we still condoling each other because of the deaths of our beloved ones? As I always say, everything happened for a reason... I know you love nature as I do and I am sure you understand that nothing in nature lives for itself. Rivers do not drink their own water ; Trees do not eat their own fruits. The sun does not shine for itself; and Flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We were all born to help each other. No matter how difficult the situation you find yourself in ; still do good to others. You have our thoughts and prayers. God bless you Your Samburu brother Tilas

Condolence: Jack was our neighbour for 19 years, and he was always so helpful and kind. Whenever we needed any help, Jack would go out of his way to help us. He was a generous and kind man, and I will never forget all he has done for my family and I. Over the years, Jack and his family became friends to us, and he will be sorely missed. Condolences to his family.

Condolence: Jack was my second Dad, I will always remember his cheerful spirit and can do attitude. I grew up with him and his " getter done" mantra made me a stronger person. I will always remember him telling me to be the best I can be! Cheering me on through football, and being there when I was doubting myself. Jack, you made me who I am today...thank you!! You will be missed

Condolence: So sad to hear of the passing of a dear Uncle. Our family has many fond memories of him.The one thing that always stands out in our minds is his love of spicy food. He always liked a little food with his pepper. It didn't matter what he ate his plate was black with pepper. The first time our daughter in law Natasha meet Jack was at a family Birthday. Jack ordered a Caesar the waitress asked him would you like a few drops of Tabasco in it. Jack replied "A few drops bring the whole bottle." Jack loved his sister in law Elsie's Beerock buns, even during the time he was sick he still talked about those delicious buns. No matter what memories we have of this great man who left us way to soon we will forever cherish them and keep them close to our heart. Aunt Adeline,Jim and Les we are thinking of you and may the love of family and friends help you through this difficult time.

Condolence: When Jack passed tears of sorrow poured from our eyes. Later these tears were replaced with tears of laughter remembering our time together and then tears of sorrow once again came over us because we miss him so. The word "unique" is one word we can use to describe Jack. Unique can mean different, both in a good way and an awkward way. Unique can mean gruff, or loving, or gentle, or direct. Jack was all those things and more. If you really knew Jack you valued his uniqueness and couldn't wait for more the next time you were in his company. Those of us that knew him and loved him, loved him because he was unique and know that we are better for knowing him than if we never knew him at all. Jack will always be part of our lives and forever will dwell in our hearts.

Condolence: We were so sorry to hear the sad news of Uncle Jack's passing. He was such a trooper and so brave through all his troubles and kept such a positive attitude through it all. He is a fine example to us all. We will always remember his smiling face and warm greetings and hugs, whenever we saw him, that made us feel so welcome! He will be sadly missed. Our deepest sympathies go out to Aunt Adeline and Jim and Les.

Condolence: I have only met Jack a few times and it was always when he visited us in the elephant barn at the Calgary Zoo. He always brought his lively mannerisms and entertained us with his great sense of humour, not to mention delivering treats for the elephants; sesame seed treats and peanut M&Ms. Those were also my favourite treats although most of them did make it to the elephants. Les always talked about his dad in such a fun way. You could feel the love and respect. This will be the way he will be remembered by family members and Cindy and me. I wish I could have got to know him better. Bob Kam

Condolence: Jack was my favorite customer. He would brighten my day each time he would walk in the door. I will miss him everyday. I remember when I had just started working at B.A and I first met him. I was warned he was kind of a grump guy. But I instantly could see right through it. And feel how big of a heart he had. I know that he will be missed by the whole team here. We have all been having fun trading Jack stories and remembering what a great man he was.
