Bill Downey was born May 1, 1962 in Calgary, AB and passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the age of 56 years.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Nelly; brothers, Buddy and Jamie (Kathy) Downey; nieces, Betty-Jo McFayden, Judy (Allen) Langille, Sue-Anne McFayden (Josh Owen) and Chantel Downey; nephew, Anthony Downey; as well as many great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Betty Downey; sister, Shirley McFayden; and brother-in-law, Gary McFayden.
A visitation will be held at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13th Street NE) on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (404 Northmount Place NW) on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:00 am. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
