Allan Ripley passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB on Thursday, December 20th, 2018 at the age of 66. Allan was the son of the late Douglas and Lina (Quinn) Ripley. He worked as a crane operator for over 30 years and was a member of the Parrsboro Golf Club. Allan was a member of the Minas Lodge No. 67, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a member of the Al Azhar Shriners. He is survived by his wife Catherine of Calgary, aunt Marina Quinn of New Prospect, and aunt Janice Quinn of Lakelands, as well as numerous cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13th Street NE) on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held in Parrsboro in the summer or fall of 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Allan may be made to the Minas Lodge No. 67 or the Canadian Cancer Society.
