Condolence: Blair was a high school chum. We travelled on many sport teams together on a school bus. We shared many academic classes.

He was one of the nice guys. Always a gentleman he was a person who was above the fray of high school life. He was respectful to, and respected by, teachers, friends and opponents. He was a person who could be counted on and always seemed to happy with life. He was fully committed to the activities he was involved in. He played hard and worked hard. In retrospect, these and his many other qualities made him a fine man and gave me many fond memories.

I am deeply saddened that he is no longer on this earth and that his family will not have his company and guidance over the next few decades.

My sympathies to you all.

Condolence: I’m another one of Blair’s Bathurst friends. We listened to music and went to concerts, played cards, played every kind of pick-up sport imaginable including some that we invented ourselves, followed the Expos closely and played on the same high school basketball team, BHS.

Despite not keeping in constant touch over the years, whenever we did connect, nothing had changed. About a month ago we spoke on the phone and caught up on things. It was a gift.

This news hit all of his old buddies hard. He was a great friend, always respectful, fun to be with and a really good guy. We just have so many great memories of the times we had together.

Deepest condolences to Karen, Taylor and Sean as well as to his parents and brothers.

Condolence: So shocked and saddened to have lost my good friend of 55+ years and trusted advisor of 25 years.

Blair and I went through the stages of life from grade one to my retirement and business life together. He will be terribly missed from my life. I owe much of my family’s financial well being to the hard work and financial savvy to Blair.

My thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family and my great memories of our long friendship will be with me forever.

Condolence: I was very saddened to hear of Blair's passing. I first met Blair close to 30 years ago when we were both learning the investment business as rookies at Burns Fry. He became a trusted advisor of mine when I left the business. I will miss our talks, lunches and the occasional golf game. Blair was always a gentlemen and a thoughtful person. Sincerest condolences to Blair's family.
