Agnes Folkerts
July 20th, 1939 - February 11th, 2018

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Agnes Folkerts on Sunday, February 11th, 2018 at the age of 78.

Agnes is survived by her three sons Gerald "Gerry" (Mely) Pasveer, Frederick "Ernie" (Lisa) Pasveer, and Brian (Liza) Pasveer; daughter Laura Pasveer (Jevad Trejic); five grandchildren Dustin Wilson, James Davis, Nathan Pasveer, Edin Trejic and Emina Trejic; siblings Gay (Jim) Remington, Helen (Dave) Ten Hoeve, Otto Folkerts and Fred (Liz) Folkerts. Agnes was predeceased by her siblings Auke Folkerts, Johannes Folkerts, John Folkerts, Klaas Folkerts, Jelle Folkerts and Winnie Verbeek.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Carewest (Rouleau Manor) for helping our mom for the last four years. Also thanks to the nurses and doctors in unit 32 at Foothills Hospital. For helping us through these difficult days.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13th Street NE) on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:30am. Memorial Service will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church (1102-23rd Avenue NW) on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 1pm.
