Olive Anne Holgate (Lee)
Olive Holgate
April 5th, 1931 - December 18th, 2017

Olive Anne Holgate (Lee) passed away quietly at home on December 18, 2017. She was pre-deceased by her older sister Louise Townley and is survived by her younger sister Evelyn Allen and her two children, Stephen and Rosemary.

Born in London on April 5, 1931, Olive immigrated to Canada in 1956, originally arriving in Edmonton. Having completed her nursing training at the Great Ormond Street Hospital on London, she worked at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for a number of years. Over the course of her working life, Olive found satisfaction in working with children, frequently special needs individuals.

In her retirement she enjoyed travel and new experiences, making friends along the way, only to see them again on another excursion. She will be missed by those she touched and especially those who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter's Anglican Church (903-75th Avenue SW) on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
