The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Nicole Jelley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Zulfira
Condolence: I am not skating but would like on this International Mentor Day to Honor the memory of my first Mentor in Canada, Nicole Jelley!

It's because of this person I know I should not settle for less in Canada than I have ever done anywhere in the World.

It's because of this person I saw how a power of strong positive energy can take you through many odds and discouraging moments.

And this is a rare person who said "I am telling you as a Mother..." as though she knew I lost my own when I was 22.

RIP, Nicole!

Zulfira.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about Nicole's passing. I met her through a friend who worked at Additionelle many years ago. I was sorry that I never had the chance to learn from her, or work beside her, because she was held in the highest esteem by the ones who knew her. She was clearly a force majeur.

My deepest condolences to her husband and the family. The world is a little quieter without her voice. And she will dearly missed.

Condolence: May God rest her soul! We met her 4 years ago and loved her immediately for her special qualities and felt her from the very first moment as a member of our family. We regret very much that we could not be reunited again , as planned, but she will remain for ever in our memory and souls.
Our deepest sympathy to Pavel that loved her very much.

Condolence: While I knew Nicole for only the last year of her life, it is both sad and shocking to learn that our lives now go on without her caring professionalism. The loss of Nicole is a very real loss for our community. She is deeply missed.

Condolence: To Nicole's family. My deepest sympathy. I worked along side Nicole as she created HR-In-A-Box. I have never seen such hard work and energy from a woman who believed in what she did. I will always be forever grateful for knowing Nicole and being inspired by her "can do attitude". She never gave up and she never gave in. I will miss her deeply!

Condolence: I am so deeply sorry to hear of Nicole's passing. My prayers are with you. Nicole was a very special person to me and to United Way of Calgary. As a volunteer member of our GAIN Team, Nicole gave many pro-bono hours to help non-profit agencies build their capacity to be stronger. She helped us develop our Volunteer program and was always willing to offer advice and give of her vast and varied knowledge. While she was ill, she continued to give her time and energy to help us. I loved her enthusiasm, her deeply caring nature and her thoughtfulness. Thank you Nicole. We are all stronger because of you. Rest peacefully.
