It is with a heavy heart that the family of Jennifer Kathleen Green announces her passing on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the age of 61. Jennifer passed after a long struggle with health issues.
Jennifer was a strong woman, had a vivacious personality and an excellent sense of humour. She loved her children and especially adored her role as a grandma. Jennifer passionately supported her community and was dedicated to her work at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. She was an extremely talented knitter, crocheter and seamstress and had a fantastic fashion sense.
Jennifer will be greatly missed and is survived by her children: Kemi Green, Christopher Green and Sarah Adoga; her grandchildren, Grayson and Sloane Hunter; her father, Ronald Green; her mother, Pat Green; her sister, Ilita Turner and her brother, Richard Green.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing at 1:00 pm followed by a Ceremonial Service on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Choice Memorial Cremation & Funeral Services (105-4715 13 Street NE). Family and friends are also invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 6:00 pm at The Antigua & Barbuda Association (3208 8 Ave NE).
